"Superhero" Serena Williams chase after a pickpocket

Ace crime-fighter Serena Williams has told fans how she chased down a thief who stole her phone as she chatted to a friend in a restaurant.
The Grand Slam tennis champion said she jumped over chairs as she raced from the eatery in pursuit of the pickpocket.
The 34-year-old said she was at a table eating Chinese food when she noticed a suspicious man loitering nearby.
"Something (I have now dubbed it my SUPERHERO sense) told me to watch him," she wrote to fans on Facebook, posting a mocked-up picture of herself as Supergirl.
The world tennis women's No. 1 said when she next looked at the chair beside her where she'd left her phone she noticed it was missing.
Despite a knee injury that has prematurely ended her season, Williams leapt into action and the hapless thief had no chance against the Olympian huntress.
"Not thinking I reacted (hence the superwoman photo) I jumped up, weaved my way in and out of the cozy restaurant (leaping over a chair or two) and chased him down.
"He began to run but I was too fast. (Those sprints came in handy) I was upon him in a flash!
"In the most menacing yet calm no nonsense voice I could muster I kindly asked him if he 'accidentally' took the wrong phone.
"He stumbled on his words probably not expecting this to happen.
"While he was thinking of the right thing to say and eventually he said 'Gosh you know what I did! It was so confusing in there. I must have grabbed the wrong phone.'"
Williams said she received a standing ovation when she returned to the restaurant.
It is not clear where the incident happened.
"Just because you are a lady don't be afraid to step up to any challenge and not be a victim but a hero!" she told her followers.
Williams' post - which tagged her sister, as well as fellow player Caroline Wozniacki - racked up 55,000 likes in a matter of hours.
